1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vidgenio (vidgenio.com and app.vidgenio.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Vidgenio is an AI-powered video creation platform that generates videos from text topics. The service includes AI script generation, text-to-speech voiceover, automatic visual selection, background music, and video rendering.

3. Accounts and Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
• Credits are allocated at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
• Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of the topics, scripts, and creative direction you provide.
• Videos generated by Vidgenio are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial use and monetized YouTube channels.
• Stock footage and music used in videos are sourced from commercially licensed libraries (Pexels, Freesound).
• You may not resell or redistribute the Vidgenio platform itself.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vidgenio to:

• Create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or discriminatory
• Generate spam, misleading, or deceptive content
• Violate intellectual property rights of third parties
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the service
• Circumvent usage limits or credit restrictions

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

Vidgenio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
